Unakite is referred to as the watermelon stone because of the olive green, salmon pink and cream speckles. It was discovered in 1874 in North Carolina. Unakite is named after the Unakas Mountains, where it was discovered.

Unakite assists in bringing shining light into your spirit, especially when you are feeling sad or lonely. It is also believed to help one in finding the beauty in everyday life. This stone enables you to be able to love others as well as attract new love by teaching you to love yourself for who you are, therefore, Unakite represents Self Awareness & Beauty.
