It can be found with yellowish gold veins of Pyrite, or fool’s gold, running through the stone. This stone was discovered in Afghanistan before 6000 BC. Lapis Lazuli translates from Latin and Arabic to mean blue stone.Disclaimer: Crystals are natural products the earth and are not always “perfect”. Some may have surface marks, inclusions, vugs (cavities) and/or natural chips.
