Named after its discoverer, Dutch Colonel Hendrik van Prehn, in the 18th century, Prehnite has been prized for its transparent to semi-transparent green coloration, resembling the freshly peeled skin of a grape.Due to the nature of this product some variations in appearance may occur due to lighting conditions during photography. With it being a product of the earth some naturally occurring imperfections such as cracks and blemishes may be present.
